David and Geoff Nicols run Camelot Silverware in Sheffield, and credit the 2012 Games for helping UK companies like theirs benefit from the Olympic glow.

They use traditional skills to produce high quality sterling silver medals , trophies other bespoke pieces for private and corporate clients and have been making silver trophies for the British Olympic Association for the last 15 years. In honour of London 2012, the BOA commissioned them to produce engraved silver models as gifts to the heads of each of the British Sports Associations.

Since the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Camelot Silverware has been working with UKTI ‘s International Trade Adviser (ITA) Kathryn Borg , and benefitting from services such as Passport to Export and OMIS (Overseas Market Introduction Service).

In this film David Nicols explains how UKTI Yorkshire & Humber is helping his company break into promising new overseas markets such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and to boost exports to Europe, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
